He has proven skills in the fields of natural resource management, support for the development of agricultural policies and rural development in general, the design of rural development programs and more particularly irrigation programs/projects and drainage and rural infrastructure, supervision of construction works for irrigation infrastructure, administration of rural infrastructure construction contracts, developing and evaluating policies and strategies for the development of water resources (especially irrigation) and rural infrastructure, integrated rural development projects; the development of policies and strategies for bioenergy development in particular biofuels, the development of adaptation and resilience strategies to climate change, and the design and implementation of South-South Cooperation programs.
His international experience includes the design, implementation, and facilitation of South-South cooperation programs, advisory support in agricultural policy and rural development, design, control, and supervision of construction/rehabilitation works of irrigated areas, management, and strategic planning, restructuring of rural development institutions, strengthening of institutional capacities, development of partnerships with different actors (government, private sector, civil society, etc.), negotiation with bi and multilateral partners and monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs.
The founder has a wide range of experience working with international organizations such as FAO, World Bank, African Development Bank, IFAD, KFW, USAID, AFD, EU, UNDP, UNEP, UNHCR, UNICEF, AFRICARE and CARE. He has also acquired a good knowledge of African countries from having worked in the region: West Africa (Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Niger, Togo, Cape Verde, Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Ivory Coast; Central Africa (DR Congo, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe, Chad, Angola, Rwanda, Burundi, Central African Republic; Southern Africa (Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibi) and East Africa (Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya).
